My name is John Stibich and I am the owner of Selling Yesterday.  I grew up in Troy, Michigan.  I attended Troy High School and then finished my education at Michigan State University earning my Bacherlor's degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.  

 

  Throughout high school and my first two years of college, my friends and I would occassionally shop at local thrift stores to find cool and funky clothes for everyday use and specific events.  My collection continued to grow until my closet began to overflow with cool and crazy clothes and accessories.  At this point, I realized it was time to get rid of some junk.  On top of this dilemma, I was beginning to run low on funds (as many college students do), so I decided to create an eBay account and sell some of my findings.  When I discovered that I could sell everything I bought for a profit, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. 

 

  I have created many contacts and quickly become an online selling expert through my experience and developing a keen eye for finding hidden treasures in piles of "trash".  Throughout my years of online selling, I have created a following and a list of items people are looking to buy.

 

  I love what I do because of the interesting items I find and having an opportunity to help the people I meet make some extra cash for items they thought were worthless.
